KINSMEN PARK

Kinsmen Park is on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River, between the High-Level Bridge and Walterdale Road. Kinsmen Sports Centre and Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool are located in the park, which is bordered to the east by Queen Elizabeth Park and to the west by Emily Murphy Park. The Kinsmen Association of Canada, which helped raise funds in the community to establish the park in the 1950s and 1960s, is honored with the park's name.
