The Lakes District region includes Lago Lindo. Between 91 and 97 Streets, and north of 167 Avenue to 181 Avenue, the neighborhood is situated. Lago Lindo's primary land use is residential, with single-family houses accounting for about all of the neighborhood's housing units. The majority of Lago Lindo's construction took place in the 1980s, with a few single detached homes constructed in the early 1990s. A modest business sector can be found along 91st Street on the neighbourhood's eastern boundary, while large commercial amenities can be found along 167th Avenue on the neighbourhood's western boundary. The educational and recreational amenities of the community are in the heart of the neighborhood. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic are encouraged in Lago Lindo thanks to a variety of properly designed walkways. Pedestrian pathways circle and link the two lakes to create this image. On the western border of the neighborhood, there is a planted buffer between it and 97 Street. In the Lake District, several neighborhoods have names that allude to lakes in different languages. The name Lago Lindo comes from the Spanish word for "beautiful lake." In addition, there are two lakes in the area. Valencia Lake is named after a town in Spain, and Andorra Lake is named after an area in the Pyrenees Mountains on Spain's northeastern border.
