Listings in Oxford Edmonton

Oxford is part of the Palisades Area Structure Plan in northwest Edmonton (ASP). In 1982, the Palisades neighborhood was annexed into Edmonton. Oxford is located in the northwest corner of the Palisades and is bordered on the north by 167th Avenue, the east by 133rd Street, the south by 153rd Avenue, and the west by 127th Street. Prior to urbanization, the majority of Oxford's land was utilized for agricultural purposes. The neighborhood's internal roads are organized around a central collector road that connects a succession of smaller loops and cul-de-sacs. The single-detached home is the most common type of housing in Oxford, accounting for about all of the units in the area. The neighborhood contains a big central school park site, as well as a small stormwater control lake, in addition to residential land uses. The Province of Alberta has claimed a seasonal wetland in the northern half of the neighborhood under the Public Lands Act. Regulations on wetland disturbance and wildlife conservation must be followed while developing near a wetland.
