Listings in Rosslyn Edmonton

A huge block of land, including Rosslyn, was annexed to Edmonton during the pre-World War I land boom. The boom came to a stop soon after, and Rosslyn remained underdeveloped for decades. Edmonton had significant expansion following World War II. Rosslyn was subdivided for residential and commercial development in the late 1950s due to a lack of construction lots around the city. The majority of the rest of the neighborhood was built in the 1960s. Single-family homes make up almost two-thirds of the total number of residential units in the area. The remaining housing units in the neighborhood are made up of semi-detached homes, row homes, and low-rise flats. Rosslyn has a number of big park locations that are linked to local schools and give people with access to open space across the community. Although there are some neighborhood-level business facilities along 134th Avenue, the majority of Rosslyn's business assets are situated in the 97th Street business strip. At the junction of 97th Street and 137th Avenue, the Northgate Centre and North Town Malls offer more shopping and service options.
