Listings in Terra Losa Edmonton

Terra Losa is located south of 99th Avenue and west of 170th Street in Edmonton's west end. Summerlea, which is home to West Edmonton Mall, lies just north of the neighborhood. The majority of Terra Losa's residential building began in the 1990s, and development continued into the 2000s. Terra Losa has a lot of commercial land usage, which encircles the area on the east and west sides. The business district also serves as a buffer between the residential sections and the large arterial roads that surround it. Within the community, residential streets and residences are structured around a central stormwater management lake and the Frank and Etta Wild Park. Terra Losa is unusual in that it has no single-family houses and the bulk of its residents live in low-rise apartment complexes. Vittorio "Victor" Losa (1905-1987), an Italian-born professional watchmaker who emigrated to Edmonton in the 1920s, is the name of Terra Losa. Victor Losa owned a small jewelry business and taught timepieces to other experts. Losa was also appointed by the Italian monarchy as Royal Consul and assisted new Italian immigrants in settling into life in Edmonton.
