Listings in Woodcroft Edmonton

The 111th and 118th Avenues, 142nd Street, and Groat Road all run through the neighborhood of Woodcroft. As a mature neighborhood, it’s name has been in use since 1907, and it refers to the wooded region on which the community was established. It is also unusual that non-residential uses account for more than half of the total land area. The residential sector, which is mostly north of 113th Avenue, offers a range of house styles and majority of the housing was constructed in the 1950s, although the region saw continual reconstruction and reinvestment in the decades that followed that most residential structures are single-detached homes. Coronation Park's northern edge is home to a multi-family complex. The Westmount Shopping Centre, a regional commercial complex developed in 1955, located in the area, was Edmonton's first indoor shopping mall and one of North America's earliest enclosed shopping malls. Coronation Park, the Peter Hemingway swimming pool, and the Telus World of Science facility are all located on the west side of the neighborhood. An indoor ice rink and swimming pool, a library, a community league, and elementary, junior high, and senior high schools are among the community's other amenities.
